What experience you will need…
It is strongly recommended that candidates first attend the Beginner Course. The intermediate course is aimed at people who have experience of riding some technical terrain and single track routes in the UK but are keen to improve their skills. Throughout this course, you will benefit from first-class instruction by a qualified mountain bike instructor, developing your skills alongside people at a similar level and great off- road riding at this excellent venue.
Your fitness level…
This course takes place on advanced rocky/technical cross-country terrain. It is demanding and requires levels of fitness that will enable the rider to climb for longer periods of sustained effort (up to 10-15 mins of climbing).
This said, by their nature, the courses are instruction orientated where techniques are demonstrated and explained in detail; all participants will then attempt and re-attempt the techniques to optimise individual skill levels.
